November 2025: What's in my Inventory

What's in My Inventory?

Intro

I was really excited for this prompt, as I was excited to sort of show off and go through everything I carry on me / in my backpack. I'll try my best to link to products where I can. Without further ado:

Work Everyday Carry

The place I go to most often is work, and so this is what's usually in my pockets on my way to work:

Photo showing the items I'm about to describe below

  1. House Keys - Separate from my car keys in case I need to run inside while my car is on
  2. Car Keys - 2025 Mazda CX50
  3. Wallet - Black leather trifold wallet I've had for many years now
  4. Jerry Rig Everything Razor Knife - Box cutter knife I really like
  5. Work iPhone 14 - provided by my job
  6. Personal Pixel 6 - my personal smartphone
  7. Flipper Zero - I use it as a glorified universal remote, but comes in super handy sometimes
  8. Retractable Key Chain and ID Holder for work ID - usually wear it on my hip

Normal Everyday Carry

If I'm going out and about, but not to work

  2. Car Keys - 2025 Mazda CX50
  3. Wallet - Black leather trifold wallet I've had for many years now
  4. Nokia 2780 Flip "Dumbphone" - I sometimes bring this instead of my smartphone if I want to be less distracted
  5. Personal Pixel 6 - my personal smartphone
  6. Flipper Zero - I use it as a glorified universal remote, but comes in super handy sometimes

Accessories

Update 11/2/25 @892.36: I forgot to include what I wear on my wrist everyday! I have a Garmin Instinct 2 smartwatch I use 99% of the time. I have a few other nicer watches I use for formal occasions.

Backpack

If I'm going to work, or going anywhere like the library, coffee shop, on vacation, I bring this backpack with me. It's the Peak Design Everyday 30L Backpack. I have absolutely loved this thing, I've had it for almost 4 years now. My wife mentions she loves it because she never has to worry about cables when we travel, since I have them all.

Back Pocket

The Peak Design has many, many pockets to put equipment. The following is what I have in the pocket that touches my back when I have the backpack on.

A photo of the objects I'm going to describe below

  1. Some random USB A to USB C cables
  2. Logitech R400 Presenter Remote - A great device to have. I usually keep the batteries out of it so they don't corrode anything.
  3. A reusable straw - you never know
  4. Anker USB C Hub (7 in 1) - Really useful if I need to hook something up to a TV or better work station
  5. A random USB A Charger
  6. A pair of wired JBL headphones I believe - I'm actually not sure if these work still or not
  7. TP Link USB C to Ethernet Adapter - quite useful with my Macbook
  8. HDMI and USB-C Cables for my portable display
  9. Portable Display - I'm actually not sure the brand or model, as I got it because someone was getting rid of it
  10. 13.3 Inch M1 Macbook Air - Got a hell of a deal on it
  11. Microfiber Cloth

Main Pocket

Photo of the objects I'm going to describe below

  1. USB Multi Charging Cable - One cable, multiple different ends. It only works for charging though, not data transfer
  2. Anker USB C 3.3 ft 100W Cable - Two of them that work great with the charger I have
  3. Anker 737 Charger (GaN Prime 120W) - Incredible charger, I use it for everything - my phone, my laptop, etc.
  4. USB C cable from Macbook
  5. ONN USB SD Card Reader
  6. Random USB A to USB C cable
  7. USB A to Other Types Converter - this was a gift, so I'm not quite sure brand, but it has a bunch of different switchable ends with a USB A on one end, and a switchable side on the other.
  8. Anker USB C 713 Charger (Nano 2 45W) - great device, my wife often uses it when we travel places
  9. Dell USB-C Mobile Adapter 6 in 1 - I really like this little guy. Especially since the wire tucks into itself
  10. Microsoft Bluetooth Mouse - Works great with the macbook
  11. DJI Pocket 2 - I absolutely love this camera! Great little device
  12. Mini Bluetooth Keyboard - Great for when I need to remotely control my laptop or connect to a TV or something
  13. Baofeng USB Programming Cable - for my HAM Radio
  14. USB Adapater and SIM Replacement Kit - another gift so I'm not quite sure brand
  15. Sony WH1000XM4 - aboslutely love these things. I love that I can use them with bluetooth or a normal 3.5mm cable
  16. Beats Powerbeats Pro - the Thunderbolt charging cable ones. They're great for working out, and I like that they loop behind the ears, however I wish they were USB-C and the left earbud just doesn't charge sometimes anymore
  17. Random USB A to Micro USB Cable

First Side Pocket

The backpack also has pockets along the inner sides, which lets me store even more stuff.

Photo of the items I'm about to describe below

  1. Chromecast - not sure what type, but I use it for when we travel
  2. Ranodm USB C to USB C Cable

Second Side Pocket

Photo of the items I'm about to describe below

  1. Audio Technica USB C wires for microphones
  2. XLR Cable
  3. USB A Cable into a USB Extender

Bottom Pocket

In the main compartment, you can divide it with velcro dividers. This stuff is beneath the main pocket I described above using a divider.

Photo of the items I'm about to describe below

  1. Miscellaneous Tripods and Mic Holders
  2. Camp Snap Camera - this was actually supposed to be in the main pocket, but I forgot to put it back
  3. Audio Technica ATR2100X USB Microphone - Absolutely love this thing
  4. Blue Yeti Microphone - I'm not sure the exact model
  5. USB A Power Only Plugs - used when traveling, so if you plug into a provided USB A charger, it only allows power through, and not data as well
